The Mitchell School Board will welcome two new board members at its meeting tonight, which is scheduled for 5 PM at the MCTEA building across from Mitchell Senior High School. Brittni Flood and Shawn Ruml, who were elected in June, will join Kevin Kenkel, Deb Olson, and Matthew Christiansen on the Mitchell School Board. The board will recognize MHS student Joseph Gebel, who was elected South Dakota Boys State Governor in May. The board will also review the 21-22 ‘Return To School Protocols’, which includes ending the mask mandate but continuing to maintain social distancing when possible. Today’s Mitchell School Board meeting is open to the public.
