Officers from the Mitchell Police Department responded to the 1100 block of East 2nd today for a report of an individual in crisis that had fired a gun out a window.  The individual was taken into custody without incident.  A firearm was recovered.  There appears to be no danger to the public and the gun shot does not appear to be directed at anything in particular.
