Nominations are being taken until June 3rd for the third annual Dakotafest Woman Farmer/Rancher of the Year Award.  The award honors hard-working female farmers across South Dakota who selflessly dedicate their time to growing crops and raising livestock on the farm.  Five nominees will be chosen among all candidates and honored at the Women in Ag event that will be held during Dakotafest.  Audra Schell of Alpena was last year’s winner.  Those wishing to submit a nomination can do so by going to www.dakotafest.com.
