MITCHELL — Senior quarterback Taylen Ashley threw from three touchdowns, and the Cavaliers’ rushing attack ran in four more scores on Friday night at Joe Quintal Field, as Sioux Falls Jefferson defeated Mitchell 49-7. The Kernels lone score came in the second half on a seven-yard connection from Treyson Schulz to Bryce Palmer.
