HASTINGS, NE — John Zamora connected on three touchdown passes for 210 yards, as Hastings College knocked down DWU on Saturday on the road 32-13. It was Homecoming for Hastings, which scored it’s first touchdown less than a minute and a half into the game.
In his first career start, quarterback Connor Drake threw for 284 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions on 20-of-37 passing.
Jamin Arend collected 71 yards on 19 carries and one touchdown. At receiver, Kiel Nelson led the way with six catches for 142 yards and a touchdown.
