MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Longfellow Elementary School’s Den B students spearheaded a district-wide food drive, collecting 3,584 items for the Snack Pack program. The Mitchell Daily Rebublic reports the drive involved elementary, middle, and high schools, each contributing specific food items. The items collected from the annual event will feed about 720 students for two weeks.
