WOLSEY, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Officials are sending out a warning about a high-risk offender who will be released from prison this week. The State DOC says Dillon Harrington is set to be released today and plans to live in the town of Wolsey. The 30-year-old is wrapping up a drug sentence out of Beadle County, but he’s also a convicted sex offender. Secretary of Corrections Kellie Wasko says a notice is necessary because Harrington’s criminal history involving sex offenses and institutional assessments indicate a high risk to reoffend.
