PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Fifty South Dakota teachers’ aides from school districts across the state are invited to take part in the new Teacher Apprenticeship Pathway program. A third round of the program is offered, thanks to funding from the state Department of Labor and Regulation. It allows teachers’ aides to become fully certified teachers. Northern State University and Dakota State University are partnering to offer the program’s coursework.
