MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Mitchell City Council will tour the CHR building at 1515 N. Sanborn Blvd. today as part of a work session. The council is considering purchasing the property, which includes a 75,800-square-foot building and parking lot, for a potential relocation for City Hall. The building, listed for nearly $6 million, was built in stages from 1987 to 1996 and includes office spaces, a reception area, and a shared break room. The council plans to assess its condition before making any decisions. After the tour, they will meet to discuss long-term goals and upcoming city projects. Mitchell Plans Second Fire Station to Speed Up Response Times
