SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A life-saving tool in the fight against opioid overdoses is now more accessible in Sioux Falls. The nonprofit Emily’s Hope has teamed up with Sanford Health to install free naloxone boxes at the main hospital lobby and emergency room. The kits, also known as Narcan, can reverse opioid overdoses and include naloxone, gloves, a face shield, and clear instructions. Anyone can take a kit—no questions asked. Emily’s Hope now has 10 free naloxone boxes available across South Dakota.
