PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Attorney General Marty Jackley and 38 other Attorneys General are urging Congress to ban pharmacy benefit managers, or PBMs, from owning pharmacies. PBMs manage prescription drug plans but now also operate pharmacies, raising concerns about price control and harm to independent businesses. Jackley says the current setup hurts small pharmacies and consumers, and calls for Congressional action.
