LAKE COUNTY, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Carbon Capture Pipeline opponents in Lake County are trying to decide what’s next. On Wednesday, the Lake County Commission rejected petitions they turned in two weeks ago, calling for a public vote of proposed pipeline ordinances. (:11) Petition Circulators say county officials haven’t explained why the petitions were invalidated. They gathered well over the required number of signatures calling for the public vote. Mitchell Plans Second Fire Station to Speed Up Response Times
