The storm uprooted trees, damaged buildings, and knocked out power across the community of about 650 people. Cleanup efforts began early Monday, with neighbors and volunteers using chainsaws, loaders, and hammers to clear debris and board up broken windows. Several businesses, including a local bank, repair shop, and storage units, were heavily damaged. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
