Former Huron Pastor Due In Court

Former Huron pastor Kevin W. Koester is scheduled to appear in court this week on child pornography charges. The 32-year-old, previously employed at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, was arrested after police searched his home and church office last month.

HURON, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The former Huron pastor who’s facing child pornography charges is due to appear in court this week. Thirty-two-year-old Kevin W. Koester worked at Mt Calvary Lutheran Church. He was arrested last month after police searched his home and church office. Koester is charged with two counts of manufacturing or possessing child porn. He’s out of jail after posting a 25-thousand-dollar bond and is due back in court today (Wednesday).
