Mitchell, SD – Safe Place of Eastern South Dakota is turning up the volume for a great cause with its “ShamROCK and Roll” pre–Saint Patrick’s Day celebration on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 7:00–10:00 p.m. at the Highland Conference Center.

Guests will enjoy an evening of live music from Doctor FeelGood, a local band made up of three physicians and a hometown drummer, who are generously donating their talent to support the mission of Safe Place. Known for their energy and community spirit, the band is excited to rock the stage for a meaningful cause.

Tickets are available at the door for $20 or $10 with a valid student ID (ages 16+). To skip the line, pre-sale tickets are available now by contacting a Safe Place board member or the Development Director at 605-933-9644 or via email at Developmentdir@safeplace-esd.org.

All ticket proceeds will directly benefit Safe Place and support the organization’s Build a Safe Future Campaign, which is nearing its final milestone. With less than $500,000 remaining to reach the campaign goal by the end of 2026, every ticket purchased brings the organization one step closer to completion.

Safe Place Board Member Aspen Harris shared her enthusiasm for the event:

“We are so excited about this collaboration for a pre-Saint Paddy’s event that allows us to spread the word about the valuable work we provide to those needing support during challenging times in their lives. The ticket sales will aid us in meeting personal needs for our clients staying in the shelter and will also assist us in reaching our funding milestone for our Build a Safe Future Campaign.”

Dr. Chris Vogl of Doctor FeelGood added:

“We are all passionate about music and find that we use that passion to help give back to our local nonprofits and the community.”

Safe Place encourages attendees to wear their best green attire, gather friends, and enjoy a night of music and fun—all while supporting individuals and families in need of safety and support.

Looking ahead, Safe Place will also host its annual Night at the Races fundraiser on April 24, 2026. Additional details will be announced soon.

The Safe Place of Mitchell is to provide a safe and empowering environment for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, education, shelter, and family support services.
