MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Two sections of 15th Avenue in Mitchell will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, and are expected to remain closed until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26.
The closures include 15th Avenue from Kimball Street to Park Drive and 15th Avenue from Main Street to Sanborn Boulevard.
No parking will be allowed on the affected sections of 15th Avenue while construction is underway.
Residents who need access to their vehicles during the closure should park on a nearby side street before construction begins.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the affected areas until work is complete.
