MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) The Retirement Laws Committee will meet on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. (CT). This is the first meeting of the 2026 Interim and is being conducted via electronic conference and in Room 464 of the State Capitol in Pierre, South Dakota, to allow for both remote and in-person participation.

The Retirement Laws Committee, chaired by Representative Mike Weisgram (R-Pierre) with vice chair Senator Randy Deibert (R-Spearfish), will meet to consider an adjustment to the annual base salary of the Executive Director of the South Dakota Retirement System.
