Mitchell Approves Dock and Lift Storage Plan During Lake Project

Lake Mitchell residents now have a city-approved option for storing docks and boat lifts during the upcoming dredge project that could close the lake for nearly three years. The Park Board set a one-time $500 storage permit, allowing use of four designated city lots from this fall through spring 2028. Revenue will help fund the restoration, which includes a lake drawdown in 2025 and a two-year dredging starting in 2026.
