It’s a sign that summer is just around the corner – tonight is the first 1st Fridays on Main Street event. The theme is The Great Outdoors and Car Show Expo.
Mitchell Main Street and Beyond Executive Director Ashley Endres says there will be anything you can thing of for the great outdoors – fishing, hunting, camping, ATVs, four-wheelers – and there will be a car show as well. Jack’s Campers will bring a camper to tour. Cabelas will have a vendor booth. The Game, Fish and Parks will have an activity trailer. The National Guard will have a joust pit.
Food trucks will be on hand, and there will be kids’ activities and entertainment from the Starfire band.
The fun begins at 6 PM for First Fridays in downtown Mitchell.
