The Mitchell United Way’s fundraising campaign is underway. The goal is $450,000, which is about $30,000 more than the 2022 goal.  Campaign Director Ashley Hobbs says 32 organizations will receive funding this year.  They focus on areas of education, financial stability, and health.

Donations can be dropped off at the Mitchell United Way’s new location, which is in the Bankwest building at the corner of Sanborn Boulevard and the Highway 37 bypass.  The Mitchell United Way also accepts donations via Venmo.  Online donations can be made at http://www.mitchellunitedway.org.

Hobbs says they would like donations to be made in the next few weeks if possible.

This year’s theme is What’s Raised Here Stays Here.
