Mitchell, SD (MITCHELLNOW) The South-Central Alcohol Task Force conducted seven alcohol compliance checks in Davison County. The following establishments passed their compliance checks: Mike’s Corner, The Ammo Box Bar & Grill and the American Legion Post #261 all of Ethan passed as did Wermer’s Lounge in Mount Vernon and the Kongo Klub and Wild Oak Golf Course in Mitchell.
There was one failure and that occurred at Westy’s One Stop in Mount Vernon. In this instance the clerk did check the Confidential Informant’s identification but sold the alcohol anyway. This was Westy’s One Stop first failure within a twenty-four-month period.
