On 1-1-22 at approximately 8:10 PM the Mitchell Police Department responded to a complaint of a male subject going through vehicles in a parking lot in the 100 block of North Rowley. Officers attempted to contact this subject and the subject ran away. Officers chased the subject on foot and the subject entered a third-floor apartment in the 100 Block of South Main. Upon officers entering the apartment it appears that the male subject exited the window of the apartment and fell to the ground.
The subject was transported to Queen of Peace Hospital for treatment of injuries from the fall. The extent of the male subject’s injuries are unknown at this time.
