MITCHELL — Thunder Basin (WY) collected 15 points from both Deegan Williams and Ethan Cox, as the Bolts handed Mitchell its first loss of the season 61-53 on Tuesday at the Hoop City Classic. The Kernels were outscored 20-6 in the second quarter.
Caden Hinker led Mitchell with 18 points. Steele Morgan added 13. The Kernels are back in action on Wednesday at the Corn Palace at 4:30 p.m. against Campbell County (WY).
