Burke, Platte-Geddes Claim 4B Region Golf Team Titles

MITCHELL, SD (MitchellNow) – Burke and Platte-Geddes each claimed team titles at the Region 4B golf tournament in Mitchell Friday.

At Lakeview golf course, Burke shot a 307 to take the girls’ team title, Mt. Vernon-Plankinton finished well behind with a 325 for second place, while Platte-Geddes was third with a 356.

At Wild Oak golf course, the Platte-Geddes boys shot a 239 to secure the team title, Gregory was close behind with a 244 for a second place finish, while Ethan took third place, shooting a 269.

Individual medalist honors went to Burke’s Adison Indahl with an 87 and Brody Boltjes of Platte-Geddes, who shot a 73.
