A candidate forum was held last night at the Sherman Center on the Dakota Wesleyan University campus. District 20 House Republican candidates discussed several issues including marijuana, Governor Kristi Noem’s performance, and how they define a Republican. Mitchell School Board candidates discussed issues including the new high school, the importance of hiring and retaining quality teachers, and their priorities for the school district. For your information on the upcoming election, you can go to the Secretary of State’s website sdsos.gov and click on the Voter Information Portal. The election is set for Tuesday, June 7th.
