Tim Gassman has 4 hits for the Gang along with 2 RBIs, Jared Miller had 2 hits and 3 RBIs, while Cole Gassman had 2 hits. Trey Krier picked up the win on the mound for Canova, allowing 5 hits while striking out 6 batters in six innings.
Mt. Vernon had six batters getting at least one hit as they beat the Redfield Pheasants 4-1 in non-league play. Cameron Deinert led the Mustangs offense with two hits and one RBI, while Baley Miller allowed just two hits and one run in five innings of pitching for Mt. Vernon as the Mustangs improved to 3-1.

Parkston was blown out by Harrisburg 12-2 as the Hops outhit the Mudcats 13-3. James Borges led Harrisburg, going 2-4 with 4 RBIs in the game, while Parkston’s Jake Weber struggled on the mound allowing eight runs on nine hits in the loss. The Mudcats fell to 0-3 on the season.
Colome’s offense produced 13 hits and 13 runs as they handled Wessington Springs 13-1 in Pony Hills League play Sunday. Ben Connot, Terrance Kinzer, Ethan Vobr, and Shea Connot led the Chaos with 2 hits each, including a solo homerun from Kinzer. Carter Brickman had a dominant day on the mound for Colome, allowing just 3 hits and one run with 12 strikeouts in seven innings.
