MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Free live music is back in downtown Mitchell as the Courtyard Concerts series returns for its second season. The concerts, hosted by the Mitchell Area Council of the Arts, kick off Friday with Dyna-Mite and the Romeos performing from noon to 1 p.m. across from the Corn Palace. The weekly concerts will run Fridays through July 25, featuring local and regional artists. You are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, enjoy lunch downtown, and stop by the LifeQuest lemonade stand. Downtown Mitchell is alive with music once again as the popular Courtyard Concerts series returns for its second season. Hosted by the Mitchell Area Council of the Arts, the free outdoor concert series kicks off Friday with a performance by Dyna-Mite and the Romeos from noon to 1 p.m. across from the Corn Palace.
