MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers is seeking information about the theft of a temporary no-parking sign in Mitchell.
According to Crime Stoppers, two males stole a temporary no-parking sign with a 4-foot square post at approximately 12:37 a.m. Aug. 30. The sign was taken from the 100 block of West Seventh Avenue near the alley.
The two males were then seen walking westbound with the sign and post. Photos of the suspects have been released as authorities seek help identifying those involved.
The incident is being investigated as Crime of the Week #508.
Anyone with information about the theft, suspicious activity in the area at the time or other criminal activity can contact Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers at 605-996-1700 during business hours. Callers may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
