MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help after a pistol was reported stolen from a parked vehicle in Mitchell.
According to Crime Stoppers, the theft occurred sometime during the night of Sept. 18 into the early morning hours of Sept. 19 in the 700 block of East First Avenue. The incident has been designated Crime of the Week No. 509.
Anyone with information about the theft or suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident is asked to contact Mitchell Area Crime Stoppers at 605-996-1700 during business hours.
Tips can be submitted anonymously, and information leading to an arrest may qualify for a cash reward. Crime Stoppers says a minimum $250 reward is offered for information that solves a designated Crime of the Week.
