Dakota Wesleyan men’s basketball went 0-2 at the NAIA Classic at the Sanford Pentagon over the weekend with losses to Valley City State in overtime on Saturday and to Presentation College on Sunday.
The Tigers led by as many as 13 points in the second half on Saturday before giving up the lead — Valley City guard Jalen Addison’s jumper as time expired gave the Vikings the win in overtime 88-86.
On Sunday, Dakota Wesleyan turned the ball over 21 times and lost to Presentation 64-55.
Alan Kikwaki led DWU (2-2, 0-0 GPAC) with 14 points, and Nick Wittler added 13.
