MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Dakota Wesleyan University is gearing up for its Blue and White Days homecoming celebration, running October 19th through the 26th. The week kicks off Sunday with a free instrumental concert in the Sherman Center, followed by Monday night’s coronation of homecoming Royals and Beanies and the lighting of the “W.” Thursday brings the Legacy Banquet honoring alumni and donors. Friday features lectures, campus tours, and a 50-year celebration of DWU’s nursing program. Saturday highlights include the Blue and White parade on Main Street at 10 a.m., Tiger Tailgate, and the homecoming football game against Waldorf at 2 p.m. Full details are at dwu.edu.
