MITCHELL — Sophomore middle hitter Ady Dwight led the way scoring with 16 kills for Dakota Wesleyan, as the Tigers swept No. 9 Northwestern (25-23, 25-15, 25-23) in Mitchell on Wednesday.

DWU erased a 16-11 deficit in the third set to charge back to victory. The Tigers scored five unanswered points that was helped by three straight attacking errors for Northwestern hitters.

DWU (11-1, 2-0 GPAC) received votes in the most recent NAIA top 25 poll but remained unranked heading into this conference match against Northwestern (8-3, 1-2).

The Tigers are back at home against York on Friday at 7 p.m. and will resume conference play on Saturday at home against Morningside at 3 p.m.
