BROOKINGS — Taking on South Dakota State University in an exhibition match on Wednesday, Dakota Wesleyan fell to the Jackrabbits 90-43.
The DWU TIgers jumped out to a 5-2 lead off of a layup by senior post Jada Campbell and 3-pointer by sophomore guard Isabel Ihnen. The SDSU Jackrabbits roared back to lead 25-15 at halftime.
Junior forward Myah Selland led SDSU with 13 points in 14 minutes in her second game back since injuring her shoulder in the win against UCLA on Nov. 15.
Cambell led DWU in scoring with 12 points, all of which were scored in the first half. Senior point guard Kaylee Kirk recorded four steals.
DWU is back in action on Friday at Presentation College at 3 p.m. and then take on Dickinson State on Saturday. SDSU starts Summit League play on Monday at Kansas City.
