MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Longstanding family farms are being recognized in South Dakota. The state Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources is announcing its Century Farm and Ranch Program. It’s in partnership with the South Dakota Farm Bureau. To qualify, applicants must have owned at least 80 acres of original farmland for 100 years or more.
