The Davison County Planning and Zoning Commission will meet tonight to discuss the formation of a tax increment financing district which would help with project costs for the High Plains Processing plant. The proposed site for the multi-seed processing plant is located two miles south of I-90 just off of Highway 37 in Davison County. Tonight’s review will consider the project plan and boundaries of Tax Increment Financing District No. 4. The intention of the project is to expand infrastructure improvements for the plant and offset costs in adding turning lanes to assist with traffic. Construction on the plant is scheduled to begin this fall. Tonight’s meeting is scheduled for 7 PM at the North Offices building on North Main Street in Mitchell. It is open to the public.
