Duane Velmer Strand, 89, of Mitchell, SD, died Saturday, November 21, 2020, of natural causes at Avera Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, June 4, 2021 at First Lutheran Church in Mitchell. Lunch will be served at the church following the service. A graveside service with military honors will be at Graceland Cemetery in Mitchell. Arrangements by Bittner Funeral Chapel.
