Easter ham giveaway set for March 26th in Mitchell

Once again this year, the Mitchell Food Pantry will conduct an Easter Ham Dinner Giveaway.  Karen Pooley with the Mitchell Food Pantry told the Mitchell City Council at its March 4^th meeting that the event will be similar to last year’s Thanksgiving Dinner Giveaway.

“It worked very well last time to have the Disco lot closed, as well as TMA and Graham Tire,” Pooley said.  “It took us 48 minutes to get rid of 186 boxes.  We’re planning on doing 200 because we already have 200 hams, so we’re gonna do 200 boxes.”

The Easter Ham Giveaway is scheduled for Tuesday, March 26^th at 5 PM in the parking lot between TMA and Graham Tire.  For more information, contact the Mitchell Food Pantry.
