The Ethan high school boys’ golf team claimed the team title at the Greater Fish Lake Shootout in Plankinton Friday.

The Rustlers shot a 239 as the winning team, Corsica-Stickney finished in second place as they shot a 251, while Mt. Vernon-Plankinton was right behind at 254 to take third place.

White River captured the girls’ team title as they shot a 256 on the day, well ahead of second-place Mt. Vernon-Plankinton, with a score of 293.

Individually, Mt. Vernon-Plankinton’s Brandon Bosworth was the boys’ medalist with a 77, while Corsica-Stickney’s Jaylen Kemp and Ethan’s Kaden Klumb were close behind in second place with a 79 each.

White River’s Kelsey Morrison was the girls’ individual medalist on Friday, shooting an 83, with her teammate Remedy Morrison right behind her at 84 to take second place. Mt. Vernon-Plankinton’s Gabby Fink tied for 3rd place with a score of 85.
