PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) DOGE has its eyes on South Dakota. The Department of Government Efficiency is closing at least 13 federal offices in the state, according to the “Wall of Receipts” website. They include four in Rapid City, four in Sioux Falls, and one each in Watertown, Huron, Fort Thompson, Sisseton, and Yankton. A Farm Service Agency, three Bureaus of Indian Affairs, and a Geological Survey office are a few of them. The closures are part of a larger effort to cut government spending.
