MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The Mitchell Quarterback Club will hold its first meeting of the 2026-27 school year Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Lakeview Golf Course.
The weekly gathering will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is open to the public. A meal will be served at 5:30 p.m.
Coaches from Dakota Wesleyan University and Mitchell High School are scheduled to speak about their teams, giving those in attendance an opportunity to hear updates on local football programs.
The Quarterback Club brings together local football fans, coaches and community members throughout the season. The weekly meetings provide an opportunity to hear directly from area coaches about their teams, upcoming games and the football season.
Membership for the 2026-27 school year costs $30.
