HARRISON, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Five people, including three students, were injured in a crash northwest of Harrison last week. Authorities say a school bus and a semi collided at an uncontrolled intersection just before 5p.m. on Wednesday. The three children, along with both drivers, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The Mitchell Republic reports a 17-year-old from Corsica was driving the semi. Charges are pending for failure to yield and for not wearing a seatbelt. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is handling the investigation. For more crime stories from MitchellNow.com, click here.
