PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A former South Dakota state employee has pleaded guilty to multiple forgery-related charges. Attorney General Marty Jackley announced that Renee Strong of Springfield admitted to four felony counts, two for offering false or forged documents and two for forgery. The charges stem from her time working for the Department of Public Safety and performing inspections for the Department of Health. Authorities say she falsified food service inspection reports while under contract with the state. Each charge carries the possibility of several years in prison and thousands in fines.
