Friend de Coup welcomes 16 choirs for Mitchell Show Choir Classic on March 19.

FDC hosts the Mitchell Show Choir Classic on March 19. The Classic will feature 16 choirs from Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.

Competition performances begin at 8:30 March 19th with Daytime Awards set for 5:15 pm. Daytime choirs include exhibition performances from L.B Williams Elementary School ShowStoppers!, Gertie Belle Rogers Elementary School show choir, Mitchell Middle School Exclamation and MMS Maximum Velocity.

Final competition begins at 7 pm with the Mitchell Area Children’s Choir and will include six finalist choirs and an exhibition performance by FDC at 9:55 pm. Final Awards are set for 10:20 pm.

Tickets for the Classic are $15 for adults, $10 for students and can be purchased at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center box office the day of the event.
