SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) Dakota State University (DSU) broke ground in Sioux Falls for the construction of an Applied Research Lab, which will eventually host 400 or so cyber security researchers.
Senator Mike Rounds says that DSU is at the forefront of technology and Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing which is why he arranged program funding for the new research center.
Rounds says that the US is currently ahead of adversaries in China and Russia, but that vigilance and continued research are necessary to maintain that lead and that’s what the DSU Applied Research Center in Sioux Falls is designed to do once it’s built, staffed and operational.
