The McLeod’s Kool 98.3 Game of the Week was a doubleheader at the Corn Palace that saw the Hanson girls and boys both win big. In the girls game Hanson jumped out to an early 14-2 lead and rolled 73 to 43 over Avon. All five starters scored in doubles for Hanson led the SGS Player of the Game, Vanessa Doyle with 12 points on four Three-point shots. Hanson is 3-1 and will host Irene/Wakonda December 30th. Avon falls to 0-4 and will be off until early January.
In the night cap the Hanson boys jumped out 11-2 on Kimball/White Lake and rolled 56-33. The Beavers improved to 4-0 and were led by Kade Waldera with 15 points and Ethan Cheeseman with nine points and 14 boards. The WildKats fall to 2-1 overall and will travel to Highmore/Harold tonight. The Beavers will host Irene/Wakonda December 30th.
