Harr named Davison County Sheriff

Steve Harr was approved as Davison County’s new sheriff at Tuesday’s Davison County Commission meeting. Harr had been serving as interim sheriff since the retirement of Steve Brink. His salary will remain unchanged.

Harr has worked for the county since 2000, the past 20 years with the sheriff’s office. He began serving as chief deputy in 2013.

The county will now search for a chief deputy sheriff.
