MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) With temps climbing into the 90s across South Dakota this weekend, health experts are reminding folks to have a plan to beat the heat. Dr. Kenji Hamanaka with Sanford Health says it’s all about staying hydrated, taking breaks in the shade or air conditioning, and keeping your time outside to a minimum. He says kids, seniors, and people with health conditions are most at risk for things like heat stroke.
