HURON, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The South Dakota Department of Corrections is alerting the public about the upcoming release of high-risk offender Moises Aguilar-Hernandez. The 43-year-old is set to be released on Thursday after serving his full sentence for sexual contact with a child under 16 in Beadle County. Because he completed his sentence, he won’t be under parole supervision. Officials say Aguilar-Hernandez poses a high risk to reoffend and will be relocating to Huron. According to a press release, the public notice is in addition to letters to local police and the DCI. This marks the 16th high-risk release notice issued by the department since 2011.
