Three incumbents won re-election in Tuesday’s city/school board election.

In Mitchell’s mayoral race, Mayor Bob Everson received 1,883 votes.  Jason Bates received 422 votes, and Giovanni Lanier received 150 votes.

Dan Sabers won re-election in Ward 1 in the Mitchell City Council race.  Sabers tallied 408 votes to Clay Loneman’s 167 votes.

In Ward 3, Marty Barington won re-election with 361 votes to Pam Bathke’s 268 votes.

Two seats were up for grabs on the Mitchell School Board.  Incumbents Lacey Musick and Neil Putnam declined to run for re-election.  Shawn Ruml and Brittni Flood were elected with 1,516 and 1,314 votes, respectively.  Chris Nebelsick had 800 votes.  Reed Bender had 598 votes.  Dwight Stadler had 520 votes, and Debbie Emme had 192 votes.

2,699 votes were cast for a voter turnout of 22.6 percent.
