Indianapolis man identified as fatality in two-vehicle crash just west of Reliance

An Indianapolis, IN. man has been identified as the person who died last week in a two-vehicle crash 6 miles west of Reliance.

Preliminary crash information indicates a 2019 Kenworth semi-tractor-trailer blew a tire while traveling in the driving lane last Tuesday night at around 7:15 PM. The semi driver was then slowing down to pull over onto the shoulder. A 2021 Toyota Highlander was also in the driving lane. The Toyota Highlander ran into the trailer of the semi.

The driver of the Toyota Highlander, 70-year old Kenneth Cleveland of Indianapolis, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the 2019 Kenworth semi-tractor-trailer, 48-year old Marcelo Ocana Martinez of Mexico was not injured.
